Lai Mohammed Speaks On IPOB as A Violent Organisation

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has described the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB as a violent organization.

Alhaji Lai stated this while featuring on TVC morning programme.

He said: "I always ask supporters of IPOB: "Is IPOB a non-violent organisation."

"I want to thank the people of Kano state, who dressed in Igbo regalia last week to say they won't retaliate

"I think the government was being careful not to play to the hands of Kanu by not re-arresting him - Lai Mohammed".

He said IPOB does not understand the Nigerian unity and that oxygen which it has been using has been withdrawn by this statement of the south-east governors.

“If the governors of the South eastern states say they don't believe in IPOB, on whose behalf are they now acting

“There's no persecution of any tribe or any religion in Nigeria but you don't have the right to threaten the existence of Nigeria”.
